    Shoes are silly.

Unless it's cold, then they are less silly.

(There's a barefoooooting forum on here too... I kinda ignore it though because there's more foot fetish than barefooting in there)

Here's the link for you though, there is a huge barefoot community here.

I just like doing my own thing, I do not see going barefoot as something so special... it's natural. So I do not need to publicise my great barefoot adventures and so on.

wearing shoes makes barefootness much more enjoyable though... whenever i walk around barefoot it feels as though i am being constantly tickled, it makes me giggle :D

Sigh... the barefoot forum used to be more normal. Sadly, the normal ones are mostly gone, and the fetishists are in.

That aside, one of the reasons I love living in Florida is for the warm weather, which of course = foot freedom. Strangely, Orlando seemed more suited to barefooting than south florida....

I don't go barefoot all that much, but I am a sandal fan, and wear them all year round, with socks in the winter, and no socks in the summer. I just can't put my feet in shoes that don't breath. They get sweaty and burn almost instantly, and I must take them off. It makes my whole body uncomfortable when my feet are hot. Sandals are also good because your toes are never cramped, and have plenty of room to move. Sandals are almost like barefoot, but it doesn't hurt so much when you land on stones and sticks, etc. Footbed sandals with fully adjustable velcro closures are easiest to just slip on, and are the most comfortably like bare feet.

I live in michigan so i try to go barefoot and with sandels as much as possible.. until it gets too cold then i have to break out the winter boots. My mom use to tell me when i was younger that it was ilegal to drive barefoot cause i never want shoes on....... I wonder if that is true? sometiems your foot doesn't seem to fit on the pedals right so maybe!!! anyways as soon as it is warm enough the shoes come off again... sometiems i forget my shoes and i have to go back cause yacant go in the stores here barefoot!!! Much love , Missy

I love going barefoot. All my friends think that I am crazy. There is just something about the grass squishing between your toes.

shoes are just another way to feel confined. barefoot is the way to go . it gives u a feeling of freedom in a world that is so closely regulated
