eek, so i was using a tooth pick earlier and started pickin at my gums, and then i took a nap, and i guess i picked hard a enough and my permanent k 9 tooth is like loos i think, and it feels really weird to bite down.

whats goin on, is there anything i can do to stop it from falling out, will it heal back into place, i can feel like a weak pulse in it, and could before i went to sleep but i figured that was just cuz i picked to hard.

i absolutley despise the dentist, any help is apprectiated..

it should settle down, the tissue around it will rebound.

I cut my gums a lot with dental floss. I use ambisol to numb the pain. Your tooth probably isn't loose. It's just a nerve that your feeling agitated. I wouldn't play with it though. I would use the ambisol and take 3 IB profens.

    I hope this helps.

Try not to bite down for awhile. The more you touch it the more it will loosen. The gum will rebound back together like dhs said.

ambesol numbs the pain, warm salt water gargling will help heal it - though it may sting for a bit.

I think it did for my gums. I really would take the ib profen too. If your stomach is sensitive to it I would only take 1 now and 1 in about an hour. Drink a lot of water and eat a cracker or something so it won't irritate your stomach too. I can't take exedrin because of how sensitive my stomach is.

    Sorry for the book.

it definatley feels way different to bite down, not stable at all. i can feel it if i put pressure like say half an inch or up on the gum.

how would salt water work, do you think that would help it to heal by irritating it? its kinda starting to get to me, i love eating, and this was one of my nailbiting teeth(maybe its a sign i should stop that).

you could test the tooth by eating a banana...its not to soft, but its not to hard to bite through either.

Is there anyone there that could look at it for you? I don't think the salt will irritate it for long. It just might sting for a second, but that goes away quick. You shouldn't really eat anything for a bit. You don't want food getting in there.

Don't fast. You need your strength for it to heal. Drink lots of milk and oj. Try and eat soft foods, like soup. Ramen noodles are really good. ;) They are not the absolute healthiest thing you could eat but you look like the extra calories wouldn't hurt you for now. :p
