Okkk so what the heck does this mean?

Last night in my dream, I was with some friends and we were in a town that looked completely demolished. There were crumbled down buildings, and possibly some burnt down. But there were still people living here..a lot of people. We had to keep getting in a helicopter and flying around because this old guy was chasing us. He was trying to shoot us because we were asking too many questions and trying to find out what happened to the town and why it was destroyed. Any idea what this could mean?

 

it means your whole town is going to be destroyed and your going to pull a helicopter out of that old guys ass and steal it. He wants it back, thats why he was chasing you...

 

It's easiest to interpret your own dreams, because you know your life better than anybody else. Hell, some of them might not even hold much of a meaning, but those that have a purpose are more easily answered by the dream-creator himself/herself.

 

I'm of the belief that our sub-concious mind has an extraordinary intuitive nature to it. Furthermore I'd have to agree, with folks like Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, that there exists in the world a collective conciousness and that it manifests in our dreams from time to to time(or perhaps all the time).

I'd personally interperit the dream as such:

The fact that you were with your friends means this is an issue that does not concern you alone, but a larger community

You described the location as "a town that looked completely demolished". I find this interesting because you didn't identify with it being your town in particular, a message your sub concious likely would have made clear if that was the intended location. I therefore take this indiscriminate town to represent any number of communities which will face a similar fate.

The conditions you described of those still clinging to life in this burnt and crumbled town would suggest that society as we/they know it has collapsed. They have not been totally anhilated but given a second chance and must rebuild from the ashes.

As for the old man chasing you and your friends for asking to many questions, I'd say the "old man" is the establishment or ruling class, that sort of thing. Power is rarely relinquished without some adverse consequences, those who have it will seek to retain it. You and your friends however represent the new voice of the world so help of course comes from above to keep you from harms way of the old mans frantic last stand.

Oh, well in my dream interp book it means...your really gay. and the helicopter emphasizes the gay..which makes you SUPER gay...wow...
