I've just began a lifestyle that doesn't involve many refined carbohydrates and a very limited amount of sugar. I was wondering if anyone else lives this way (as it is new to me) and has any good recipe's they could share (the healthier the better!) Thanks for your time.
Could you be more specific? What kind of recipes are you looking for? Practically everything I make contains no sugar. If something does call for sugar I usually replace it with molasses or maple syrup, or leave it out depending on what it is I am making.
Lot's of things have sugar in them. Most salad dressing, tomatue sauce, and canned soups contain sugar...but they could all easily be made nicely without any sugar. You can usually find sugar-free versions of those items if you look... your best bet is to search out the organic versions of these, since those tend to be more health-conscious.
