Hi, let me make this brief. People with bipolar reach differently to drug use, especially when under medication. So I thought we could have a thread to discuss this. I have been diagnosed with bipolar. I've only used marijuana prior to being put on lithium only a few times. Now when I do smoke up I feel very sleepy. Does it have something to do with lithium. I can't say for sure. I've smoked while on lithium and felt higher than normal. Maybe the weed was better than what I was used to. I don't think there's much research concerning pot use and lithium. If I find any, I'll let you know! Peace and love
mary jane can just make u feel sleepy, it doesnt happen to me often. I have biplolar and i think mary jane helps me out a lot. It can make me very more active happy and motivated, and it also makes me relize more things in life that i need to fix and change. But it is different on everyone. For me it has had a very positive influence in my life.
