My puppy had his first heart ache today:

    Hello! Until today my puppy would soon forget about me after I left for work and happily go about his day. But today after I had been gone about an hour he went over to my computer chair sniffed around then he went over to my kitchen chair –sniffed around – then back to the computer chair - and so on.

    Finally he sat by my kitchen chair and had a puppy cry for a few moments. I kind of hated to hear that my puppy was sad today but I was also kind of happy. Partly because it showed me he really – really likes me. And partly because I am the one who has to be firm with the training - so I thought that he used to be glad - that the big meanie went to work. I guess absence makes the heart grow - fonder in the canine species too. Cheers!

    PS : We only use tone of voice and telling him things 10.000 times for his training.

    man i love puppies..although im not a big fan of training..i think dogs and cats alike need to be left to roam naturally...of course as our companians, but not to be told what to do and commanded by us
