Do you have any favorite coffee shops?

And what is the regular price?

I am probably going to Amsterdam soon.

If you're going during tourist season prices will get jacked up unbelievably high no matter where you go, or so I've heard.

Well around November for sure; I'd have to assume during the summer, spring break, the normal vacational seasons.

Amsterdam is always packed with tourists, all year round. Coffeeshops have set menus; the prices are unchanging and non-negotiable.
Price and quality vary enormously from coffeeshop to coffeeshop, and can be anything for 5 or 6 Euro a gram to 25 Euro for Ice hash. The better stuff (and the better prices) are away from the main drag and Centrum area, and definitely not in the Red Light District, where everything is way overpriced.

Personal faves of mine include Barneys, Tweede Kamer, Buschdocter and Cafe 420.
