can someone please answer this question, im dumbfounded why it never is the central focus for discussing this idea that a creator has to exist because the world is so complex.

clearly god would have to be infinitely more complex therefor having infinitely more reason to be created by a higher power

Sorry, but that is a typical Christian response. There is no answer, it's way more likely that God was man made than a complex being like God be made up out of nothingness.

i suppose you believe in magic too. with so many magicians, how could they ALL be fooling us?

a miracle is not imaginary. it is the cause of the miracle, that indeed makes it seem 'miraculous'. people who experience miracles arent necessarily crazy, they just assume the cause of their circumstance was too wierd to be normal. experiencing these wierd phenomenom also makes a person feel special and so they may think anything to support the idea.

ps since youre all for 'statistics' of peoples belief, how many people do you think experience real miracles? maybe on person in every hundred? that is about teh same occurance of schizophrenia. im not saying that these people are schizophrenic, im just saying there is probably a similar occurance of craziness as there is occurance of miracles, it doesnt make it too hard to believe that there could be serious discrepancies in reports of most miracles.

everything can be explained one way or another "miracles" most of the time are cooincidences, or simply luck, yes occasionaly unexpected things happen, the the human race is unpredictable in itself

one more thing i will add to this thread:

i find it sad i only know the basis of Christianity, western civilization has influenced me by pumping me full of christian TV programming, ad's, and the overall ubundance of christians in north america

i really wish i knew more regarding the origins of hinduism and bhudism, bhudism also being the only religion i would ever even consider joining, although myself being so materialistic it would be hard, although most worshipers are accepted i belive

You wouldn't happen to know any particularly articulate books for quantum mechanics would you?

Christ, quantum mechanics is so interesting.

If you push into a wall for enternity there is a reasonable chance you could go through it.
