Anybody out there attending or and alumnus of University of California, Berkeley?

I'm hoping to go there after high school, and I'd like to hear what I should expect from somebody who has actually been.

It's rediculously huge--2 biggest in the country, something like 30-45,000 students. I go to USF in san fran, but my dad went there and I've toured it a bunch of times. The city and the whole bay area is wonderful, albeit infested with burnt out hippies still on a drug trip from the 60s. But on the actual campus, things are actually starting to get more conservative, but of course the surrounding area is as liberal as ever. (Just don't go to Oakland...they're liberal with their guns [IMG]) They're a really good school, if you can get in, particularly if you live in CA and get in-state tuition. Not much personal attention though.
