Just wondering who out there has heard of a young blues guitarist by the name of Joe Bonamassa. This guy is relativly unknown in the world of pop music but has gained quite a following in the world of blues. I compare his style to a cross between Warren Haynes and SRV. If you enjoy Joe's music let me know, I would highly recommend giving any of his albums a listen to.
joe bonamassa freaking rocks,,,i love all his music!! did you know he played with bb king when he was just a young boy??? he can sure kick ass on guitar and his bass player kicks some serious ass too,,,,
young boy being bout ten years old,,, i do know he is only like 22 23 right now,,,on a interview with him he spoke how he played with bb king when he was around eight or ten,,,,,, he is a really good artist.
Yes Wyldwynd, I had heard that, he kind of reminds me what I was hoping Kenny Wayne Sheppard would become. You are also correct, his bass player kicks some butt. If you havn't checked it out yet-I would recomend checking out Joes DVD, His bass player is right on as well as Joe
I just picked up his new album... Very nice cover (and nice choice might I add) of Tea For One by Zeppelin! I was reading his bio over at allmusic... Seems he was one of those child prodigies... Was playing at a very high standard by the age of 8 or something...
