    man, i love the work Jimi and Curtis did together!....i've got both "early classics" and the ppx sessions - smashing work indeed!

    but today, my fave song has got to be "rainy day", because that's what it's doing here right now ;)

    oH MAN hendrix did everything but who knows definately Hey joe all along the watchtower foxey lady crosstown machine gun the star spangled banner and freedom and angel best ballad of all time

    i'd have to say Angel and Bold as Love are my favorites... but all his other songs are still amazing

    the first Hendrix song I heard was his version of the star spangled banner, and it blew my mind. so that's the song that got me into Jimi

    i personnaly prefer bold as love, little wing, foxy lady and voddoo child even if all his songs are great!

    Everybody keeps sayin' Voodoo "Chile". Isn't the title of the song Voodoo "Child", or does it have 2 names?

    They are different songs. 'Voodoo Chile' is a long blues jam (it lasts fifteen minutes) whereas 'Voodoo Child (Slight Return)' is about five minutes, a lot heavier, with amazing guitar playing.
