indian smokes

    i not sure what they're called. some people call them beadies, others, indian smokes. i know that they're herbs wrapped up in a leaf but nothing more than that
    can anyone give me any info? are they better than cigarettes or...

    bidis. they ARE cigarettes pretty much, only they're flavored and wrapped in a non-tobacco leaf (disqualifying them as cigarillos) instead of paper. they're smaller than normal cigarettes but give you more nicotine because they're unfiltered, burn slower and require you inhale them more often.

    they're just as bad for you as any cigarette, and in my opinion they taste like shit and all the nontobacco stuff in them makes me dizzy. they're popular here because they look wierd and exotic, and people for some reason think they're better for you than regular cigarettes....but i think they're popular in india and southeast asia because people are poor and bidis require less actual tobacco, making them less costly.
