    Sitting Alone Tonight,
    With Garbage Piled High,
    Not Such A Pretty Sight,
    A Tear In Her Eye.

    A Discarded Toy Bear,
    Thrown Out On The Heap,
    No Thought Or Care,
    The Toy Put To Sleep.

    The Rain Washing Down,
    The Bear Swept Away,
    Her Smile, Now, A Frown,
    In The Rubbish She'll Stay.

Her Stuffing Gone, Her Torn Seam,
Her Happy, Warm Home Now A Dream.
