A friend did a CWE on some T3s and put it in the refrigerator (38* - 40*). About 2 months later, the slightly milky liquid turned brown and had some brown clumps in it. He then filtered it and got a tan clear liquid but has not done a bioassay.

The gut has done CWEs on AC&C and motrin/codeine and this has never hapened .

PS - A cotton ball wrapped in a coffee filter and placed in a large 2oz irrigation syringe makes a great filter.

It's probably because it sat around for 2 months. I don't know why the fuck you'd leave it sitting for two months, but it has definitly gone bad. I wouldnt even TRY to do that stuff.

Throw it out and save yourself a trip to the hopsital.

He had it refrigerated for 2 mo because he makes up large batches. It may have turned brown long before 2 mo because the container was wrapped in foil. He has kept CWEs from ASA & motrin even longer without any problems. Unlikely it "went bad" because no pathogenic bacteria would actually grow in a T3 extract kept at 38* F.

I think it just oxidised and was going to suggest he throw a Vitamin C tab in his next batch. I was just wondering if anyone else had this happen.

But this just happened to me, too. At first it just turned yellowish but now it's DARK brown. Was the codeine damaged at all in your friend's? Haven't tried mine yet.
