Apart from Amsterdam where would people think would be good. I wouldn't mind going Jamaica, Thailand, India or Nimbin in Australia.

Cannabis has not been fully legalised in any country.

There are a few regions which tolerate it very well, such as Jamaica, certain countries in Africa (even a territory off Egypt), the Indian subcontinent, and a few countries in Asia, such as Afghanistan, Yemen, Nepal, and Burma. South America has very confusing laws about weed, but some also tolerate it well.

On a lesser note, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, and England are pushing decriminaliization or have some sort of gentlemen's agreement towards cannabis usage but with alot of restrictions.

In North America, in certain parts of Mexico, Vancouver (and other parts of Canada) it is still punishable, but increasingly looked away from by LEO. And finally in the US, all I can really think of is Alaska that is the most free towards mj.

I've been to Amsterdam twice. It is still technically illegal to carry more than an ounce or purchase more than 5 grams up to 6 at coffeeshop's now. The chance of getting arrested is almost none, but the Dutch have arrested a few citizens and foreigners in the past years. Even opening and running a coffeeshop is now alot more tightly controlled and regulated by the Dutch government.

    Hope this helps.

As Mr Soul said it's not legalised anywhere. I believe in India they have a relaxed attitude about it in certain parts as it's part of their Culture and in Nepal aswell. It's good to see that Europe is moving towards evetual legalisation. In Ireland it hasn't been decriminalise like in Holland, England, Belgium and Switzerland, but people caught with small amount anything around 1/2 an ounce, would generally get away without any punishment.

Ibiza is an overpriced, overrated dump. I hear it was cool about 10 years ago, but its popularity in Engalnd has led to it become stupidly commercial. You know how it goes, cool place is discovered by the masses and starts to attract the wrong crowd...and its all downhill from there. Big, crappy clubs and hordes of pissed up English chavs and chavettes. Thats about all you can say about Ibiza.

Anyway, if i were to go on a holiday purely for weed, i'd probably hit Cambodia. Awesome place with awesome people. Insanely cheap weed which is freely available anywhere foreigners would be likely to go. Serisouly, they gave me complimentary spliffs with my dinner... You couldn't go 10 meters down the road without catching a wiff of it in some parts of town.

Now i think about it, theres plenty of places in the world to go smoke easily and safely. Nepal was certainly cool hehe.

Yeah but if you are caught smoking in Cambodia you are in serious trouble, similar to Thailand and Vietnam.
