Bush introduced a new budget plan to congress today, it calls for 240 billion dollars more for the war in Iraq while at the same time cutting funding for Medicare/Medicaid. Typical republican, curtail Social Services while boosting war spending. He's gotta get the money somewhere right? Members of Congress said Bush probably won't get any support for the budget from either Democrats or Republicans. That's good news! Bustramp
The budget will get passed one way or another by the complicit Congress and Senate. Besides, Bush has already declared himself dictator and says that he has authority over Congress, and whatever he says, goes. By the way, the entire budget is a whopping 2.9 TRILLION dollars. This is totally unprecedented and even more proof Bush is not a conservative. He is a socialist-bordering-on-communist dictator, and we can clearly see this as this country heads further into the pits of a fascist police state, where very soon it will be a crime to say the things I am saying now. Bush has the most liberal spending record of any president. It's no wonder this country is heading in the direction of the former Soviet Union. The man is an absolute criminal, and is absolutely evil. But the real evil lies in the people behind the scenes, pulling Bush's strings. Because we all know Bush is nothing more than a stupid puppet merely doing what he's ordered by his elite handlers. Presidents are nothing more than figureheads -- some moreso than others.
I love the fact that while asking for more money for this war he's recommending that veterans pay co payments for health care. What happened to the republican stance on warrior hero worship.
Funny how they propose more personal responsibility for the little man but they can't account for almost 9 billion dollars of Iraqi reconstruction funds. Who is going to be held accountable for that? http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/01/30/iraq.audit/ The only ones that will gain through this budget are the insurance companies and the richest american's who will continue to receive unfair tax breaks.
I do Shaggie, but that was before the privatization of most of the military procurement. It is probably impossible to even audit the pentagon these days, with the broad reach of Haliburton's might.
Remember Bush's Thanksgiving Dinner in Iraq in 2004, well our troops had to eat sandwiches for a while because Haliburton didn't pay their subcontractor 87 million dollars for food services. http://video.msn.com/v/us/msnbc.htm?f=00&g=f69da2fa-798b-4429-af50-d10158e16bee&p=&t=m5&rf=http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4480796/&fg= http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4480796/ http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/02/02/eveningnews/main597566.shtml Think they were held accountable for mismanagement. I doubt it. Another example of how important our troops actually are to the Bush administration.
