I got my new movies in the mail...Waking Life, Pi: Faith in Chaos, and What the #$*! Do We Know!? Let us hope they are good...I'm gonna watch Waking Life tonight, I've heard great things about it. I love updating my queue and just browsing around, rating the stuff I've seen. It's what I do sometimes to overcome boredom when I'm up too late at night.

So, what movies do you have rented, or what are going to watch tonight?

I'd like to see drive-ins around, I've always wanted to go to one.

What the Bleep Do We Know does sound really good, I'm interested to see it...maybe tomorrow night :)

    Those are all great movies.

Waking Life is a tad too pseudo intellectual, but who gives a fuck about that with all the pretty colours :)

I got Netflix too, great service.

Today I was watching an old Russian movie which is better than any movie ever made in the English language: Tot Sameyj Baron Minhausen. (That Same Baron Minhausen)

...but yet again, there are several Russian movies which are better than anything ever made in English. Russians KNOW how to capture human emotion, real emotion.

Yeah, I could easily see Waking Life being pseudo intellectual, but I think it'll be good nonetheless.

I have a few Russian movies in my queue but haven't gotten any of them yet. I looked up Tot Sameyj Baron Minhausen and they didn't have it. Any recommendations?

One of the last movies I got was Ingmar Bergman's Wild Strawberries. I really liked it and meant to watch it again but I ended up sending it back.

Hmm... There are so many good Russian movies. I'll go through the netflix selection when I get off work, and recommend ya some.

Northern Exposure is one of the best shows in the world.

Oooh, those movie all look/sound so good :)
Sadly, i haven't rented a movie in a very long while. Another thing that sucks is that there aren't a lot of independent/foreign movies at my video club ... Oh well

And Pavel, the only russian movie i have seen in my whole life was the Russian Ark and i haven't enjoyed it that much..

waking life is sometimes hard to follow with some of the people in there, but the artistic way its put together is definitly a trip.

what the bleep went right over my head. i remember nothing of that movie specifically except for people talking and then the crazy animation :D
