He's just goving you advice, even if it wasin a sort of snobby way. Step it up with the lights - it will make a HUGE difference. The 200w fl isnt' gonna be able to flower those plants out, and the nodes are gonna be way to far apart. Seriously, read a grow book or get on a bigger forum and just start reading....and reading.....and reading. Just trying to help you out bro

Ditch the blacklights and get some air movement going on.

A Floodlight throws out a wide beam - flooding the area with light; as opposed to a Spotlight which focuses the light into a narrow beam - just lighting a bright spot. What you really need to understand is that just giving the plant more illumination wont really help it grow much - it needs a certain part of the light spectrum. Light bulbs are made to help us see better in dark situations. Growlights are made to supply plants the kind of light they need. Here's how it works.

Our eyes are most sensitive to green (we see green most efficiently), green is in the middle of the light spectrum. Remember R-O-Y-G-B-I-V? Red-Orange-Yellow-Green-Blue-Indigo-Violet. As the light rays get farther from the center of the spectrum (and change color) they are harder for us to see; that's why red looks black to us in low light situations. Plants, on the other hand, absorb most of thier light energy from the red and blue parts of the light spectrum. That is why there is a big difference between the kind of light that helps you see well and the kind of light that makes a plant grow well. Also; marijuana is a "High Power" type plant, that means that it needs even more of this "good spectrum" to do well.
btw we're not haters; you're just paranoid!
