I feel like my best friend is obsessed with me.

She always tell me that I am soo pretty. She constintaly want's to be around me and it just seems like she wan;ts to be like me. It's really freaky how it happens. Also it seems like sometimes she tries to get me jealous with the stupidest things that never work. What is up with this situation?

 

Perhaps she is a lesbian and wants to have sex with you. Anyhow tell her to fuck off, and if that doesn't work stab her.

it's okay, my best friend has a crush on me, and it really grosses me out. everytime we're high/drunk and whatnot she tries to kiss me, and is constantly trying to touch me otherwise. i just avoid it :\ she takes it the wrong way though, like i hate her or something? but i don't know how to tell her. ahh well...

 

I had a friend like that when I was 15. She was even jealous of my other friends and anytime she knew I was hanging out with someone else she would grill me about what we did and if I had more fun around that person than with her. It eventually got to be too strange and I just slowley stopped hanging out with her untill the point we that we didnt even talk. I couldnt change the way she acted and it made me too uncomfortable because it got worse and worse as time went on.

hey purcolekraze, a lot of girls your age are just insecure about themselves and don't realize how it looks when they try to copy somebody else that they look up to or respect. you know the old motto, imitation is the best flattery, and you're also getting straight flattery.... so, be flattered, and be kind. if she's your best friend, help her find herself, that's all she's looking for.

Being on the other end of the stick, most of the time it feels like that [stabbing, etc.] when you have a crush on a straight friend. Although...here's a thought: if she is in fact a lesbian or bi and she has a huge crush, it's unlikely that she would be so affectionate and comfortable towards you. Serious sexual crushes between friends usually result in a lot of nervous, awkward behavior. And as for the other girl who replied, definitely not in drunken kissing - that's just normal experimentation for the hell of it.

If you really do think she's keeping something hugely obvious from you, by all means, bring it up. Honesty and communication go a long way.
