Why Do Some People Feel Compelled to tell you...Just Before They Place you on Ignore..."Oh Don't bother Reply as You're Going on Ignore"

I mean...It Looks as if I am Bothered by my making this Thread...

Because by telling the person they're being placed on ignore they make themselves feel higher than you. It gives them an illusion of power, that they can choose to ignore you, and they feel that by telling you it shows how much power they have.

Sometimes if one person disagrees with a second, both get pissed and place each other on ignore because they can't stand to be challenged. It happens a lot in the politics forum.
