Ive never really written any poetry, but it might be a good thing for me to try. I think it might help me out with writing songs.....so heres a little ditty that I just freestyled a second ago. Tell me what you think: I dream to one day find a land A land that needs no law No limits No holds barred No regrets Only dreams take hold in this place Sweeping over your body like intense vibrations Moving your soul in ways of the unknown Don’t hold back, let it move you. Flow with the breeze, let the wind carry you New highs, old lows, where men never grow old Places only dreamers seek to behold
To me, it was more of a story-based writing about magic and mystery. I don't know that it drew any concrete images into my mind about what you were feeling when you wrote it though. But don't worry, practice makes perfect
