Im not sure what to do (Advice please)

Ok, so i met this kid about a month ago. He came over to my house, and come to find out, hes gay.The only other outed gay guy in north mighigan (As far as i can tell). I am bisexual, so we started talking. He gave me his email, and we have been talking online, since he lives kinda far away. Now, when he came to my house, i was not thinking about anything but "Cool, someone else to talk to", no sexual or relationship thoughts entered my head. Since i started talking to him, I have become more and more attracted to him, almost to the point that its all i think about. Now, this would seem pretty much like a open/shut case, ask him out, and see what he says. But its more complicated than that. He comes from a completely seprate world than i do. He calls himself an "Emo" kid, I only recently found what the hell that word ment. I dont know, he seems like the preppy, sorta popular kid, whos depressed. Thats radically oppisite from me. Im afraid if i ask him, he'll just laugh at me or something. Im really confused. Plus, Im 17 and hes only 15. I dont know if i just should bite the bullet and ask him, or what. Anyone here been in that same postition? Thanks for listening!

 

Okay, here's my view on it:

You're only wanting to ask him because you're having sexual feelings about it. I don't think there's any emotional bond to this guy. If that is the case, I would use him for what you want and then move on till you find someone better. This may sound harsh, but it's due to the fact the kids emo, depressed, and gay. It's more like a trend these days than a sexual feeling. Being gay and depressed is involved in the package of being emo.

Perhaps I'm being cynical, but don't count on this to be the best of the best, because you'll find other people as you grow older.
