To see this typical view of people almost everywhere for me personally is very disturbing. Its like if you do something great, some guy feels really good because he gets to relate with you on the subject of gender. If you are male and if you are a rocket scientist, he feels proud and "better than everyone else" because he is also male. If a certain individual - for example - MY SISTER watches the fricking lifetime movie and starts saying things like "all men are like..", "all men are like ... ". This is a problem with alot of people who support the feminist issues. It is that nowadays women/lifetime/other media make such a fuss that they blame "all men" to something that only a few individuals have done. Men this... men that... most men will get sick of this male bashing. I am.

I don't see how lifetime is still legal in this "patriarchial" society that we live today.

well, as for the math thing, i was never all the great with it. not that i couldn't when i worked on it, but i was not oriented that way. i was a literature and culture whiz. but when i needed help with maths and science, i couldn't get anyone to take me seriously. there may be something to that. i ended up tutoring people in science and math myself so that i would retain the information better. talk about the blind leading the blind, but it was the only way i could get anyone to pay attention to my needs in that area. so if 0% of girls they surveyed and made to take that test didn't do well, i consider it more an indictment of the teachers, not the daughters.

Ladies, I'm not exactly Feminist by any means. But... I gotta agree with you on THIS one! My wife, is BETTER at Math than anyone I know. I've heard of several Females in the Internation world of Physics!
