Alright...this time its got to work! My Journey to Health!

    I didn't exercise today but I did do pilates yesterday and the day before. I'm going to continue working out as school goes on. I am goingto try the 45 minute pilates workout this week and I'll try to get some cardio in.

    I lost 6 pounds in under a week and all my size 10's fit me now :)...for a total of 17 pounds and two sizes since Dec 26th. I am a happy girl. I just added shorter but harder workouts in. The kind where my t-shirt is wet at the end of them.
    I'm renewing my bikrhams yoga membership on tuesday. I want to get back to my weight and size when I was 20. 2 more sizes to go and about 5 pounds and a lot of replacing fat with muscle!
    I ran everyday this week except for today (my neck hurts, I slept weird).
    Awesome job with the Pilates! I wish you lived close I would love a workout budy.

    hey bella! thanks so much for posting..no ones posted here in a long time. =) Sounds like you're doing great. Right now I'm a size 14...which I don't understand but its ok.... I'd love to get down to an 8 or 10. How ever did you lose so much weight in a months time? I am still working on it... I need to do more cardio workouts. I'm planning to get in 15 mins of cardio 2-3 times a week. I really need a sports bra. wish me luck!!

    I got food poisining so I lost about 12 from that and then gained 4 of those pounds back so really only lost 8.
    I lost the rest from reving-up my exercise. Before I was doing long slow runs for an hour or so. Now I am doing a quick 2 miles or 15 minutes of sprinting up and down hills with some pilates and yoga in there once a week or so. I also do planks-at Fitzy's suggestion and can hold one for over a minute now (when I first started I would collapse after a couple seconds). I started doing push-ups too. Originally I was doing the girl ones but now I can do 10 regular push-ups (which is a lot for me).
    I stopped losing weight and was just maintaining so I decided to change my diet. I cut down on the alcohol-no more cosmos (arghhh), beer or mixed drinks....with the exception of my slip up last weekend...how can a girl resist a maithai? Now when I go out I order vodka tonics with lime-and no more than two. I cut way down on my sugar. Started eating a lot of low-fat dairy-frozen yogurt, yogurt drinks, low-fat string cheese, low-fat spreadable cheese on flourless bread.

    Today is my first day on my new high nutrient diet. I make-sure that 80 percent of my foods are nutrient dense. I've never really enjoyed food too much so after breaking the sugar addiction this is easy for me. I always just liked nice resturaunts for the booze, company and dessert. I'm gonna run to whole foods in a few and get some raw chocolate, plain yogurt, guava nectar and bananas and someother yummy things to keep me away from processed sugar. Getting off table sugar is harder than when I quit smoking.

    I hurt my neck and back and ran yesterday anyway and screwed myself in the process because now I can't do anything ):

    What do you do for your cardio? I would love to mix mine up a bit. My goal is to run a fast 5k in April but sometimes running gets a bit hard on my joints.

    It's tough because I have a really small hips and a small rib cage...so a 10 sounds good, but for me I am still really flabby at a ten...and then I have these broad shoulders...so I get away with it when I am dressed but without clothes on I am a mess.

    I had a bad couple of days this week.... I ate lots of junk yesterday and the day before.... I'm doing much better today. I've had yoga class twice this week and I'm going to try to get in alot of exercise and at least some pilates.

    yay for your yoga. That is the hardest exercise for me.
    I started eating raw food only. It's only day 4 and my clothes are huge on me. I feel really light and can't wait for spring when the studio starts holding adult ballet classes again. My head feels so clear. I can think again. I feel mentally and physically fit. I start bikrham's yoga Feb 1st.

    sheesh pot is bad for a diet. I've finished up and I am going to take a break for about 2 weeks... on friday I did 20 mins of yoga and yesterday I fooled around with it a little bit too. I really need to get back into my pilates...if I can do it 2-3 times a week and get my diet right Ill get into really good shape. I have about 6 weeks until my vacation/dreadline and I'm willing to generous with myself. Honestly... I should probably find my way to the gym once or twice a week for some cardio... I haven't done that very successfully lately.

    Hey! Congrats so far meep! I've decided to join the fight as well, and your posts are inspiring. Tomorrow I'm going to break out the yoga and tai chi books!

    I haven't gotten to exercise yet.... dammit. Tomorrow I get to do yoga for an hour. Maybe I'll do a little yoga tonight and shower. I am going to work on cutting my eating down and avoiding junk food. I should try to do pilates thrice this week.

    I'm not exercising today. I ran 4 miles and walked 1 and a half yesterday. I already took a bath and got ready for class and then realized I didn't exercise yet....I'm so forgetful...or maybe I have a selective memory :D I'll run tommorow to make up for it as I don't have class.

    i finally worked out today... my body NEEDS more pilates. I'm so tired of being flabby....heh. I think I'm going to contentrate more on my legs, thighs, and arse. I'm going to start a regime of leg lifts, squats and lunges. I really don't knw how I'm going to get some cardio in... I'm going to make an effort.

    so today's yoga class was awesome... its so nice to know that there are at least 26 more coming.... tonight i think i might try to do some rebounding before I get in the bath. I was in class today and I looked over at one of the dancers and she had the flattest belly and huge boobs prob like a d or dd. i was amazed but also a bit shamed by my own belly that extends past my ample but modest bosom. hmmm... i wonder if i'll get the shape I want.... I am kind of a boy shaped girl beyond my very full bottom and thighs, I really want a more womanly shape... I sometimes worry that it may never happen.... I surely need more cardio and t eat less but I don't really eat that much...hmmm...
