Hello all! I really like these forums. For every stupid, ignorant posting, there are at least five or ten that impart really impressive knowledge and understanding....... I live in southwest Montana, and am looking to meet interesting, liberal, and open-minded people. (Not really all that many people around here like that). I have a djembe drum (recently obtained) but have never been involved in a drum circle and would like to join one. I like music of all types and also play a trumpet and just learning guitar. I also like outdoor stuff, am an avid (and pretty fast) hiker and would like to meet people into serious backpacking. I'd love to hear from you all, whether you live around here or are just passing through sometime. Peace to all of you.
Well I hitched to and stayed in Dillion a few summers ago, pretty country, thats sorta southwest Mt. Pic---That's the road to Dillion. Bustramp
Thanks for the welcomes! Bustramp, did you go to the Rainbow Gathering near Dillon in 2000? (I didn't, I regret to say). If you're ever this way, give me a holler, and maybe we can hang out. Incidentally, I want to apologize for getting my proportions wrong in my original post. For every ignorant posting there are at least 100 enlightened and/or helpful postings.
No, I didn't go, I didn't know there was one there in 2000 otherwise I'd a went. These days I'm living in Colorado and I missed the gathering in Steamboat Springs because of a knee problem, sometimes I'll drive to Billings but that's about as far as I go. I've heard through the grapevine that there's rainbows in Missoula, it's worth checkin out, I was there 2 days and ran into some cool people but you can check out http://welcomehome.org that's the rainbow site and you can find information if you look hard enough about Missoula/Montana Rainbows. Good Luck! Bustramp
