Im throwing this idea for a gathering out there...

Alright,
so maybe some of you might remember, how last year, I had planned out an EastCoast Hipforums Gatering, in New Hope, PA (about 45 minutes north of Philadelphia).
Well, plans fell through. Why? No idea, really.
But I want to work on making it happen this year.
So.
Who is up for an East Coast Hipforums Gathering? Its definitely not limited to those from the East Coast, pretty much anyone who can come, but I figure only people sorta near by will be able to actually come!

I would have the gathering sometime in August, this summer.
Itd be outside of cousre in some sort of park or natural property.
Thered be music.
And Swimming.
and frisbee.
and
bonfires.
and
many other fun things.
most importantly, cool people.
To make this really cool we woudl need to go all out, not hold back. Come on guys, we're always being all like "I wish we could do somethin cool" or wishing we oculda done somethin like the 60s. Well then, how bout we DO something. Gatheirng togehter is a great way to have a great time and be inspired by likeminded people adn jsut basically chill.
Invite everyone you want.
And if you have suggestions (especialyl if you liev in PA) of a good place in PA to have the gathering (otuside of somewhere I think might work out), then tell me!

And anyone who is willing to join my Planning Comittee, PM me.
And ask your friends bands to play at it.

Someone usually comes up with an idea like this every year and it never goes through.

I've had forumers stay at my house.... and I usually run into someone at concerts or on vacation, so it's not really thatttt new of a concept to me.

Though, I wouldn't mind being helping, if you were serious about it. My neighbor was the head ranger of a park where my dad was born/grew up, and now we ended up living next to each other without knowing, when we first moved in. I'll probably see get his advice on what it would take. We also used to own 100 acres or so, and once I had permission from my family to use it for gatherings... but that's gone now.

 

PA is so noooorth.

 

Yeah, I was thinking more along the range of the blue ridge... or somewhere nicer.

Ya... if you want to have an East Coast gathering, at least have it somewhere in the middle of the East Coast. I wouldn't mind catching a bus to lets say... South Carolina, North Carolina, or even Virginia.

I also live in VA... and know the most of the land between Georgia and Virginia pretty well. I'd say almost like the back of my hand.

Well... considering it was the capital of the CSA, it is the South.


I've touched Jefferson Davis' deathbed... creepy vibes I got, though. I've always felt that the confederate white house is haunted, every time I go there.

It's got this... old 1800s mansion... clue/hell house kinda vibe to it.

um.. i always feel.. left out when you guys do this east coast planning thing, cause theres no way i could get out there.

see, if its somewhere other than PA, then that means I cant really help to plan it, since I dont know about any land or space to have in it Virginia. Im up for having it in Virginia, if itll allow more poeple to attend, but that then means someone on here who lives around ther ehas to be willing to take the responsibility for finding the location and shit. whos up for that then? if no one is, then Ill plan it, but then itll be in PA again..

p.s. yes, Im still in Germany, Ill be here until July. But I know the area where I live in PA, and PA in general, pretty well, so me not acutally being there at hte moemnt doenst matter. Plus, I have friends back home in PA who are up for plannin it out with me, so yeah its all good.
