when i was little my mom got me clay for christmas and you could bake it in your oven, i dont know if it'll work for the clay you used but you could try it. I would say 450 degrees and do it for dunno maybe an hour. Id keep checking it every 20 minutes or so to how its doing.

next tmie you build a fire throw it in the coals. I'd imagine that would do it somewhat descently.

thats a nice bowl on that... enjoy! i dont think the conventional oven would work though...

i looked around a bit, and it depends on what kind of clay you're using and how hot your oven can get. i dont think you can do it with any conventional oven.

if it's a porcelain/earthenware clay, then you need temperatures of 2000 F and above, and if its just earthenware (the type of clay with lowest firing temperature i think) is about 950 F and above.

but what the hell give it a shot, if it doesnt work check out the art room at your school and see if you can sneak it in there for a bit. that or make it part of a bigger piece of art just so it doesnt look like a pipe lol... good luck

it looks nice, but if you tried to fire it with the paitn hoping it will gloss up, it aint gonna work. you need to glaze it and put it in a kiln for like 14 hours
