helloo i am a young(ish) girl who lives in newcastle and i am finding it soooooooo hard to find anyone who wants to play the same stuff as me! also i dont know anyone my age who likes or has even heard of garcia, the allman brothers, jethro tull, anyone like that!! im also really interested in indian music and fusion pieces, its just i cant find anyone and i am really wanting to play with like minded people! i am studying music at the moment, and the 'star' student in the class (who the teacher adores) wants to a Kelly Clarkson kinda figure! i love listening to new music, but the dead were amazing and would blow any of these 'musicians' off the stage!

yeah, i was having the same problem for a while. Get your name out there, let people know what you dig, and i guarentee you the right people with find you.

 

write everything on your own, learn as many instruments as you can. and of course, listen to jerry

 

I've been playing the guitar in almost 6 years now.
And theres NOBODY who's playing the same music as I.
Theres only musicians who's playing black/death metal.
