salvia is the only one i know of that works. and maybe datura too, but i dont know if you smoke it, dont know much about it.
I've herd of basil or parsly but i wouldn't smoke parsly i might try basil tonight if i can find some
wild letuce, wild opium, loads, mainly found in those legal smoking mixes, which taste like shit, and dont DO jackshit- just a lesser buzz than off a ciggarette.
I know that nutmeg works if you eat it, but I don't know if smoking it would bring the intended effect. In August I ate three whole nutmeg nuts, and then I fell asleep. The next day I was so delirious I could barely stand up. I had an awful headache all day, and my stomach felt terrible. I went to a Steely Dan concert with my family for my dad's birthday, and I can barely remember anything from the concert because I was so out of it. If you do try nutmeg, I would make sure that you had at least a day to recover in case it hits you like it hit me.
catnip, coltsfoot, rabbit tobacco just a few. Most of these get you high from oxygen deprivation, but they are good to kick a cig habit or the like. Also, you can add a little to your usual herb and stretch it out when you run low!
Salvia, Kratom, and Kava Kava are generally the best when it comes to reliable psychoactive effect, though they are increasingly hard to find (scept for salvia, and that's a heavy-duty psychedellic, not a weed high at all). I've made poppy seed tea and mixed it with some damiana for a rather nice buzz (not heavy-duty, more like popping 2 vics and watching a chill movie). but yeah, nothing like pot scept for the real thing. (ps you can't smoke nutmeg, you need fresh nutmegs, and the "buzz" isn't that great and you feel like absolute shit for two to three days afterwards, so don't do it).
^ this is why i said I've heard bad side affects . I haven't personally tried to smoke it, but I have known a few folks who did. Needless to say, the girl is a moron and said she had a mild buzz and a Headache. From wiki- In amounts of 5-20 g it is a mild to medium hallucinogen, producing visual distortions and a mild euphoria. It is a common misconception that nutmeg contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). This is untrue; nutmeg should not be taken in combination with MAOIs but it does not contain them . A test was carried out on the substance which showed that, when ingested in large amounts, nutmeg takes on a similar chemical make-up to MDMA (ecstasy). However, use of nutmeg as a recreational drug is unpopular due to its unpleasant side effects, including dizziness, flushes, dry mouth, accelerated heartbeat, temporary constipation, difficulty in urination, nausea, and panic.
You know you have an abnormal attachment to pot when you feel slightly insulted that someone wants to smoke something else. lol My bit of advice...stay away from nutmeg. I wouldn't be surprised if it was started as a joke and the internet ate it up as a way to get high. It sucks.
salvia, datura, letucce opium (lactusa verosa i think), peyote, skullcap maybe? or if u cant find anything just get drunk
Morning glories aren't worth it really. If you have a garden with some, maybe, but not if you have to buy anything. (the only time i got it to 'work' i ate some dramimine beforehand and that got rid of almost all nausa).
I don't know, man, the first time I tripped was on morning glory. Bought a few packs from Wal-Mart, ground them up, mixed with some pudding. 300-400 seeds between 3 people. The nausea wasn't too bad; I didn't have any until a few hours into it and that was after smoking some salvia. I just had to lay down on the floor and relax for a little bit. It was definitely one of my best trips, and one of my better salvia experiences. We lost the ability to speak anything besides gibberish, but in our heads it sounded like we were making words. You would talk, and think you said what you wanted, but gibberish came out, and you knew it, but couldn't much help it. I had to focus all my energy and talk very slowly to form words. Maybe the seeds you ate had some chemicals sprayed on to discourage eating them. Or maybe your stomach just doesn't like morning glory. Who knows? But when I had it, it was very worth it. Course nowadays, I usually stick to mushies for trips. But you know, whatever works.
