Hey guys, I just bought some shrooms again. I've only done them and only seen them once before. The ones I got the first time were good sized caps and tiny stems. This bag is monster stems and tiny caps. I noticed after cracking open the stems that inside they are filled with a white fuzz. When I take the fuzz out and roll it on my fingers, it mostly disintegrates. And also on the outside of the stems in places there is a fine white powder. I'm not familiar with mushrooms enough to know if this is normal or mold or what. If someone would be nice enough to explain to me how to post pictures here, I will do that asap. Thanks a lot.
go to an image hosting site and put the link up, as for the shrooms that doesnt sound to good. Ive never noticed any white stuff in my stems but ive also never opened them up. i think imageshack.com is one you can use
Ok here we go- http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2196477570045911703HVKQyv In this picture I peeled the fuzz back to get a better look at it. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2192921860045911703yvDHak Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest, I don't remember my digital camera not being able to focus on things close up. Thanks again for helping. I forgot to mention too that these stems seem to have been very close to the cake when growing. Most of them look like a stump of a tree. They're really thick.
woah, those shrooms are huge. ive never ever seen shrooms like that. atleast psliocybin mushrooms. thats so strange looking...did you get those from a reliable source?
They could be the Costa Rica strain, or the PF Strain (don't remember the actual strain for that). Dunno about the white fuzz on the inside.
They could be any strain. Could be like cobweb or something? A mold. Unless it is mycelium, but I really not sure if mycelium grows inside the shrooms sometimes. They are dried looks like something thats been growing...ugh. Had this before, but it was gray inside...Yuck!...Ate them anyways and tripped, but maybe your stomach load will be a bit heavy. Probably still wet inside when stored.
