Deeing as you are the owner people want and Need to know before committing themselves - what security to stay on or will the owner simply use their labor and say thank you good by. what kind of governing - by rules and that sort of thing - helps them to see you've thought a good bit about this work scene - both around the community and in the community....personal money availability what ideals do you try to manifest - or just plain escapism ? ? all you say is to get away -> into what ? Old Wolf says a lot of intelligent things here. I'm in the process of planning a community in Texas & we are thinking of a lot of these same issues. I particularly like Old Wolf's question: "what are you escaping into." We want to escape a lifestyle that we know we don't like, but unless we plan to create something better, we could discover the same neurosis living in the country as we had in the city. A community has to be a positive project with a grounding philosophy, not merely a retreat to the country.
