    Hello, I'm new here at the hip forums. I need some advice. Me and my boyfriend Matt (Deez), would really like all our friends to know that we are intimate with each other, but we are really unsure of how our straight friends would take it. Should we keep this to ourselves? I'm afraid that some of them won't understand and stop hangin' out with us.

    Well if these people are true friends they will stand by you and your partner, if not, let them go. How happy you are is more important than how your friends are.

    Do you want to keep hiding it? Or do you want to take a chance that they might react better than you think? Have you considered the possibility that they already suspect?

    Have you considered the possibility that one or two of them might actually be happy for you?

    Don't forget that it's kinda trendy these days to have a gay friend. Take advantage of it, sister! ;)
