Well, Ive battled opiate addiction for the past 3 and a half probably closer to 4 years now and I have tried everything. Meetings, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab and nothing has ever worked for me. Well, im currently on day 5 of Suboxone maintenance and let me tell you, this is the best I have felt in the past 4 years. Ive also stayed away from all other substances. Ive already been to 6 AA/NA meetings since Monday and feel like I finally have some control over my life. Suboxone works and so far has turned this scumbag into someone with hope.
Are you the one who posted a thread about something, erm, wrong you did in order to score? If so, congratulations, I hope you get off the opiates and better your life.
So suboxone works good for opiate addictions? I got those to get high off of. Ew i threw up for 2 days because they make them for people who already have a high tolerance. Well good luck man.
I've gotten of heroin before. My moving to the middle of the desert (Australian desert) where you can't get any and smoking lots of weed. Once I overcame the withdrawls I've had no desire to return to that evil drug. Don't live in the desert anymore and I've been clean for 4 years.
If you can get through 4 days of wd it will be up hill from there. The 4 days you will need something to help you sleep, clonazepam or xanax works ok, I've managed with nothing though. Hot baths and L-Tyrozine will help a lot with the body discomfort. smoking weed is always good I've done it a few times and it blows but it's do-able. Good luck
