weed or booze

I voted for booze just because I'm still pretty new to weed, so I've got a few more fun nights with alcohol under my belt. I expect that to change, however.

i love weed because it helps you see things from a different perspective, it helps me think. it's amazing on a night in with a few friends to relax with.

i love alcohol as i always have loads of fun when drunk, it's great for a night out.

well the point of the thread is knwoing what you like the most.
if we had a both option every1 would've voted it (weed+booze ROCKs!)

I like weed better then alchol.
Altough, I consider the "high" you get from alcohol (aka being drunk) stronger and maybe more fun then weed's high i still prefer weed. Getting high is something you can do anytime without it affecting the rest of the day while being drunk is more a thing to do with friends on weekends and stuff...

 

alcohol turns my friend into a hugeee slut and makes my mom called me an idiot, failure,loser,waste of life ect...So definalty weed. Smoke it everyday and it just puts me in a good mood and mellows me out.

 

I'm not a weed nor alcohol user as a norm but I wanted to add:

Marijuana should be legal.
Booze should be illegal (that is unless they created even more extreme laws for drunk drivers an assfucks who commit acts of violence whilst drunk).

 

I used to prefer weed but I must say getting drunk with some honeys is the way to go.

 

People who voted "boo to drugs" are idiot paranoid douche bags. I say this with common fucking sence. Not a crack pipe like a typical sterotype punk might say.

 

Depends what I am doing really. Most of the time I would rather have weed, but if I am at a big party or if I am at a bar I would rather drink.

Clearly, you haven't much experience with weed, or alcohol for that matter. When I get tanked, I can't even remember what the word 'problems' means, let alone the fact that I have some....

Alcohol is a poison. Marijuana is not. Alcohol is addictive. Marijuana is not. Alcohol makes you stupid. Marijuana does not. Alcohol makes you unable to function. Marijuana does not...

There is seriously no positive side of alcohol abuse. With marijuana, you can lead a productive life, not make retarded decisions, not become a junkie, and not be a stumblin' and mumblin' idiot....

I don't really see how this is even debateable, but hey, to each his own.

 

Alcohol only makes you stupid if you let it. I can be just as productive drunk as when I am high or sober. I have self control and I think with nearly any drug it is the same way (except maybe phycedelics). Also, some people get VERY lazy and stupid when high and they make "retarded decisions" and become a "stumblin' and mumblin' idiot". I know many a pothead who is a burn out and mentally addicted to pot.

Though I would agree Alcohol has more negative affects than Marijuana. And that guy is totally wrong when he said:

If thats what you truly believe, then why bother saying
there is nothing positive about alcohol?

Anyways, BudToker, I HIGHLY doubt you can retain self-control when drunk. When buzzed, yeah, of course. I'm talking about DRUNK. Try drinking an 18 pack and having an intelligent conversation, or getting behind the wheel of a car... good luck.

 

I am very capable of having an intelligent conversation when drunk. In fact after I drank 13 shots of jack and 2 beers in 1 hour I had the most deep conversation with my friend who was sober at the time. I gave lots of advice on love and her relationship and it helped her a whole lot. Just because YOU can not do so, does not mean I can not. You know nothing about me. I would never drive while drunk because my motor skills do go downhill. I can think fine because I have very good self control. I can even take control of my motor skills for a while.

I personally like alcohol more.. But thats just my opinion. I still like weed somtimes.. but I just never really grew to love it like most people. I was forced to smoke it when I was younger from certain people and that made me not really like it too much and resulted in bad experiences. Ill light one up maybe twice a month or so on my own.

I do not like people smoking in the same car as me. I guess its just some phobia from when I was young and people would roll the windows up and lock em when I really didnt wanna get high. This was when I was 9 or 10. It was just all too overwhelming for me at that age I guess and I always remember it. I can only smoke when Im in a certain mood. But alcohol I can drink whenever. my 2 cents

 

I don't drink. Ocassionally I'll a have a beer or two but that's it. It's all about Mary Jane for me.
