... a question for some of you more experienced vegans... If I were in the position where I couldn't eat well every single day (hypothetical), is it more important to have the proper amounts of protein at the end of the day? Or is it okay to have the proper amount of protein at the end of the week? For instance, if I couldn't get the proper amount on mondays and wednesdays, but I 'made up' for it the rest of the week.

    Safe? or?

    thanks in advance

Yes its safe. You eat foods with incomplete proteins and eventually they make a complete protein in your body. You don't have to eat all the essential amino acids in one sitting, your body kind of stashes them away until you have enough.
Protein for vegetarians and vegans really isn't the biggest problem like a lot of people think, its mostly specific vitamins and minerals we lack.

I remember I once read that the body can't really store amino acids like it does fat. It can't store sugar either, it all gets converted to fat and put away somewhere if it's not getting burned. It uses them as it needs them, and manufactures them from the bacteria in your gut when you need them too. Spirulina hemp seeds are some of the best protein sources in my opinion.

If you have a fast metabolism that runs on heavier food, like fat and protein, you'll naturally eat heavy foods and be attracted to them anyway, and be taken care of. If your metabolism is slow and you can get away with eating more fruit, you probably need less protein, so youll be fine that way.
