hello nice to meet you, last time I went to stonehenge it was a bit ropey, I had someone threaten to arrest me for having a candle in a candle holder and a kip mat to sit on .
aveburys still nice, better I think for the soltice .
Most of us talk on msn if you use that, also we meet up at various festivals and events.

what do you like about knitting ......Ive started collecting old singer sewing machines by the way .

hi jonny used to live near salisbury and went to avesbury quite often, very calm sitting among those stones. also enjoy going to woodhenge on a summers day

there used to be a leaflet that gave you information on the various festivals but havent seen anything like it for a while, how do you find out where they happen

    Theres festival eye http://www.festivaleye.com/

last year good small events I went to were.

sunrise celebration that was a bit like watching woodstock on a small scale as they lost money and nobody seemed to know what to do for a while, that should be on again this year.
Then there was the levellers festival beautiful days in devon thats in august nice event .

Then there is my favourite the big green gathering http://www.big-green-gathering.com/
Thats a great event all solar and wind powered , no big bands just accoustic stuff in tents me and lithium stewarded it and got really nice free food.

http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=189089 thread of pictures from big green gathering

Basically its all the green areas from glastonbury and what glastonbury would have been if it hadnt got big and hyper commercial ,its in august and in chedder somerset

There are lots more small events ,small worlds festival , buddhafield lots more we have posters who do them all through the summer .

this will seem a bit obvious but never believe all you are told, even people in "authority" lie.

i have a son last known to be somewhere around either tewksbury or birmingham, havent seen him since he was 7 when his mother decided to move there and have 2 stepsons both little hiplets lol and grown up now. lol

I like the question Peace asked ... do you know other hippies/counter cultural types? I've seen a few people I think would be in the category around where I live but have yet to find anyone local ... do you know where the hippies/counter cultural types hide?

    what's your favorite colour?

What were your life dreams when you were a child? Which have you realised, which have you failed to realise?
