Detroit rock and roll at it's gun-toting, revolutionary finest. Kick out the jams, mother fuckers...

Having grown up in Detroit, MC5(Motor City 5) was pretty much a household name. Back in the USA was their best in my opinion. Ck out offshoots Sonic Rendezvous Band(better then the 5) and Wayne Kramer(Live like a MF is a good start). Band is currently on a reunion tour although key players Fred Smith and Rob Tyner are no longer with us. Saw Rob Tyner band many times at clubs and festivals around Detroit area
