i hate valentines day....

Yup, hamster died on valentines day. Its just a made up holiday anyways...

 

The thing is this holiday is meant for lovers...those who are in love...so all the othera feel just being left out and this really depresses, I agree....but...we can pretend there is no such a day...how about this?

 

I dislike it because I do not believe that there should be a single day to celebrate love, love should be celebrated everyday.

 

It's just another corporate set up for gulliable people to spend their hard-earned cash.
I've never 'celebrated' valentines day and I never will.

Don't give in to their crap.
They want you to feel lonely, then, when you aren't lonely you'll spend money on their crap because that day doesn't make you feel lonely anymore.

i agree. valentines day is my birthday too which is a bitch. it's hard for my friends cos they want to be with their bfs/ gfs but feel bad not seeing me. =/ meh

 

i like it to not like it....i dont like it because you either get a bad tooth from the chocolate or you gain weight...i like it because of the chocolate....

Nah usually dont notice, never spent valentines with any one, not my time of the year for love.

 

valentines day is always weird days for me. I usually have to work those days...... being in the restaurant business, you have to. one of the busiest days of the year (excluding mothers day) and usually I have no one to spend it with anyways, so....

 

Yeah.... I have a lot of built up rage towards Valentine's Day, considering it's a celebration of the BIGGEST FUCKING CLICHES and it always be drivings me crazies!!

 

Nah, what's the worst is people you've never met in your entire life coming up to you and asking you if you love them...

i'm always alone on valentine's day. except for that day i was asked out on valentine's day but that was 3 maybe 4 years ago..

 

i dont really pay no mind to holidays in general, valentines day is just like any other day i dont feel lonely. last year on valentines day me and 3 friends took a day trip to the beach and got drunk

I kinda like it because it makes my friends happy. You know, give them a ring, let them know you're thinking of them. Of course I call them regularly anyway but on a holiday (however fake it truly is) the effort is much more rewarding- for both parties. Kyle

 

If your depressed on Valentines day heres what you do... fuck with everyone who is seeming to enjoy the holiday and have fun by chillin with your homies and gettin fucked up and laughin about how unlucky you are but not givin a fuck.

im not a fan of it oly because ive never had a boyfriend or spent it with anyone besides my family. which i think spending it with your family is a good way to aviod the fact that you dont have a lover to spend it with. usually, i got a pair of heart socks from my mom with some choclates.

i used to hand out valentines day cards but then it got to expensive. but this year, i hand made cards.

i would love to spend it with someone, but i think thats a general feeling that eveyone has
