Bob Marley- Catch a Fire and Rastaman Vibrations. Good cd's to start

Toots and the Maytals- True Love. Tribute album with the man Himself
Peter Tosh- Scrolls of a Prophet
Easy All Stars- Dubside of the Moon and Radio Dread
    UB40- Rat in the Kitchen
The Harder They Come Soundtrack- The delux edition has a bonus disc with the top reggae songs of the time.
These should keep you intrigued for a few weeks

    Let me suggest a few.
Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, Cutty Ranks (the stopper album), Buju Banton, Sizzla, Bounty Killer, Capleton, Luciano, Garnett Silk (one of my favs), Sugar Minott, Barrington Levy, and some really cool dub music by King Tubby, Scientist, Lee Perry...There is so much reggae, I can go on and on...
