About a week ago my lower right back started to hurt. My skin felt irritated but the source seemed to be inside, not just the skin. Soon after I started to get these quick and sharp pains in my lower right abdomen. This went on for a few days and then finally stopped. Well, this morning I woke up and my lower right abdomen kind of hurt again, so I decided to feel around. The whole area felt pretty firm, at least more than the other side, and I found a fairly small lump just above where my pubic hair starts/off to the right. Right now it doesn't actually hurt, I can't feel much of anything, but it's discomforting to touch. It's making me kind of nervous...anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Ovarian cyst, appendicitis, who knows. I'd talk to a doctor (I had to be rushed into surgery with appendicitis 3 years ago all starting with pain and tenderness in my lower right abdomen).

Being with the back and abdomin pain, and that skin irritation, it could definately be your appendics like Sera Michele said. It could also just be a swollen lymph node, I am pretty sure you do have some around where you're talking about finding the lump....but I'd say get to the doctor to get their opinion, your health is not worth fooling around with.
