Do you think I will be tested?

I am getting a job soon I just have to give them my resume. It is just a small restaurant. I will have the opertunity to smoke this weekend, on the 26th. What are my chances of being drug tested for this job? Thanks everybody.

 

i highly doubt a restaurant would drug test you.. if you want you can always just call them up and in a wierd voice go "do you drug test employees" haha.

 

depends the restaurant ,its kinda shity that this sort of things is allowed to happen whats next testing for HIV lol

 

If it's just a small place and not a chain restaurant I doubt they'll test you. But if it's a job that seems appealling to you, why risk it?

 

most restaurant places like that wont drug test because if they did more than half of there employees would have to be fired. When i worked there were only two people that didnt smoke or do drugs out of like 16 people

drug testing shouldn't be allowed. If you are a stoner and do a good job at work then it doesn't matter, if you suck you should be fired just like anyone else would be.

my managers would close together and have sex at the store which was pretty gross cause that store is nasty.

Ok, they didn't preemployment drug test me, can they random test me? The handbook I got from the co-employer people who write my checks gave different scenarios where they could drug test but it said they only apply if I got a preemployment test. Also if they random test me and I fail will they just automatically fire me?

 

i think you'll be fine man. Most places wont drug test you unless you give them a reason too. After working there for a while you may find out that they dont care or that they do. Just dont talk about drugs and listen for talk among other employees to find out.

I would say if you failed a drug test they would fire you.
