Hey all! My hubby just listed some really nice Hand blown bead auctions all starting at .99. He'll be posting more in a few days, all starting at .99 so check them out! Ebay Auctions Blessings, ~tree
Man, I am sooo trying to get that opal one for a necklace I am making for my mom's birthday... They are amazing pieces of art though. What a talented hubby! I hope he makes more like the opal one cause I may get out bid I can hardly stand the suspense!!
Thanks for the kind words! HoneysuckleBlue, i'm guessing you were outbid, the bidding went surprizingly high on that one. i'll try to get him to post another soon. The very first "Gift of the Goddess" opal pendant he ever made he gave me for Mother's day. ((Grins)) i also sometimes post them on the Sb Auctions, and they sell for significantly less there. The ones i post on the sb Auction are considered seconds, but that is only because hubby is a perfectionist. Often times his 'seconds' are nicer than many folks firsts. lol. i'll post on here if i get any up on that auction. i'm working on posting a couple more .99 bead auctions today. Thanks everyone for looking! Much love, ~tree
Heehee, no actually I got it I could'nt leave it unattended and there was literally a last minute bidding 'war' as the last fifty seconds ticked away I was typing furiously lol. Fun, fun. I don't mind paying more for art, it is money well spent. It's just such a gorgeous piece. We were wondering how he makes them with the opal inside like that? You are sucha lucky mama to get one for mothersday!! I'd definately like to see others like it, because i don't know if my own mama is gonna get it heehee, I am simply enchanted by it.
Oh!!! hee hee. Congratulations on winning that one! i figured it was a couple of collectors fighting it out. You definitely won't be dissapointed, those Opal pendants are breathtaking! Pictures never do them justice. i'm not entirely sure how he does it. i know he encases the opal in clear glass first, and then sticks that into the pendant once the design is layed. At least, i think. lol. Opal are one of the very few stones that will not burn up in molten glass. The design in the glass is created using pure gold and silver fume. He is planning to post another similar pendant with the heart shaped Opal sometime before Valentines day. He also has one with a tear drop Opal that you can expect to see in the next week or two. He also won't be putting up any more bead auctions until Monday. So check back! Many Blessings, ~tree
