Man, those are some good pictures & great info too. Looks like a Vermont Cart in one of them. I made myself something similar using the wheels from an old wheelchair... Beats the piss out of a wheelbarrow. The shiitake are doing like crazy. We've had some unusually warm spells and we've gotten rain, but just a little rain, every weekend for the past five or six weeks. All the early spring flowers are blooming already, not full bloom yet, but a lot. I don't think it could be more perfect for shiitake, been picking twice a day a lot of the time. Had to borrow another dehydrator just trying to keep up. What I'm trying to do now is get over the health stuff, it's almost time to cut down & cut up some trees, then innoculate the logs. I keep wondering... How the hell did I end up with this old man's body. I was wonder the other day - Have you been getting much sales from your web site? Peace, your friend, poor_old_dad
Garlic def. packs a powerful punch! I always tell anyone who tells me garlic is not good for you to take a bite into a clove of garlic and tell me it's not a strong medicine. Easy to grow too. I planted some haphhazardly in a window box, two starting to grow cloves from my kitchen, just for fun.... and one took, and is still out there through the winter. I plucked the greens off a couple times for culinary purposes and it's still going at it. Hey dad how about the reishi's? Did you ever succesfully grow those??? Start brewing those up in a tea a couple times a day, or just make a huge batch and refridgerate it, and I bet your health will be thriving in no time. Peace =) Avocado
