Majordormo - If you have problems retracting in the future, buy some hydrocortizone cream and put it on your foreskin. That will make the stretching easier.

Perhaps 15% of uncut guys have trouble retracting their foreskins, even as late teens or adults. So it is not a problem which can be tossed off as unimportant. If you have the problem, it is important.

Smitty - it may be a short frenulum which is causing the inability to retract and the pain. You may not need a full circumcision, but only a snipping of the frenulum - ask your doctor.
Oh that would so great if it was, I am making an appointment next week so here's hoping. On closer inspection it is indeed the only thing tight when pulling my foreskin back. This is great news, I hear that the minor operation required to correct is pretty much a 100% success rate because of its simplicity. Schmitty - let us know how it goes next week. People accuse me of being fixated on circumcision, but if there is another way that accomplishes what you want, then do it that way. I have been cut since birth, but with much of my foreskin remaining intact, so I know what it is like to be "uncut", since i can pull my foreskin entirely over the head when soft, and half way up when erect. I can't conceive of having sex with an unretractable foreskin.
