I just think it's cool to hear Madame Speaker for the first time ever in the State of the Union....personally I don't like Bush (which is a different topic entirely) but it felt really good to hear the president say "I take pride in being the first President ever to start the State of the Union with 'Madame Speaker"...... just thought I'd share my thoughts on our first female Speaker of the House.
Me too. I got chills just hearing it...Think about it, maybe one day we'll be hearing, "Mrs. President..."
