2 tbsp olive oil 4 mushrooms (chopped) 1/4 an onion (chopped) 3 cloves of garlic (chopped) 2 8-oz. cans tomato paste 1 tsp basil 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp pepper 2 tbsp salt 1 package "brocolli cole slaw". Cook the mushrooms, onion, and garlic in the olive oil in a pot until they are slightly brown (about 5 minutes). Salt lightly. When they have been cooked thorougly, pour in the tomato paste. Stir it all together and let it sit for a couple minutes. Mix in the basil, oregano, pepper, and salt. Stir again and cover with a lid. When it starts bubbling, turn the temperature down low and let it cook slowly. While it's cooking, you can cook the slaw. Simply pour about 1 tbsp olive oil on a frying pan, then dumb in the bag of brocolli slaw. Cook it for about 10 minutes, flipping & stirring ocassionally. It should be a little brown (but not fried). When the brocolli slaw is finished cooking, mix it with the sauce & enjoy! My dad and I made up this recipe. It's simple, fast, inexpensive, DELICIOUS, and healthy. And if you live with meat eaters, you can very easily add slices of sausage or ground beef to it after you've taken your portion. Hope you like it!
What is brocolli cole slaw? If I knew what that is I could comment more but otherwise it sounds promising, except that is a lot of salt!
