...and by snowing I mean a few snowflakes landing on the ground and pretty much melting right away. But even that seems to be too much for this crazy country! I swear, these people just can't seem to handle such extreme weather conditions. I was gonna take the train to uni this morning, but apparently the trains aren't running because there's a little bit of snow on the rails. The buses are extremely late and the traffic's gone nuts because apparently it's too hard to drive when there are a few patches of snow on the ground. Hahahahah. And everyone seems to be bitching about how horribly cold it is and how the weather is so extreme. It's hilarious. I never knew that +4C is considered cold before I moved to England, and I never knew that a few snowflakes falling from the sky can be considered a blizzard. And I certainly never knew that weather like that can paralyze a whole friggin' country!
That's what it was like in Philly last week, the first time there was a little bit of ice on the ground, next thing you know cars are flying off the highways and smashing into walls and blowing up and shit!
KozmicBlue.. EXACTLY! I didn't even get to school on time, coz all buses were incredibly late! A few snowflakes.. and nothing works...
i live in canada and people still can't drive with the snow..we get it every year, often alot worse than this year people are crazy... i want to move to the caribbean and serve drinks by the pool
AHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHA oh man that's hilarious There's a thread in the Canada forum, called "Saskatoon's weather Jan 10" or something like that I think... and a youtube thread within of our blizzard a couple weeks back. You should show it to people there and tell them to suck it up. Cuz, I'm sorry, +4C is toasty warm and a few flakes of snow would be lovely instead of the snow being packed like 4 inches deep on our little residential road (the busier roads got cleared, but the other ones just got the snow packed down from vehicles driving over it)
I knew while writing this thread that at least you would find it as funny as I do Coz we're both practically eskimos.
Actually wait, nevermind... I was gonna act all shocked and horrified but then I kinda agree.. I wanna be somewhere sunny and hot. With palm trees and cold beer and ocean and sandy beach and smell of sun tan lotion. Oh and I also agree with the you getting old bit.
Does it freak you out? Everyone keeps saying age is just a number, but I dunno.. I'm already panicking about turning 23. Just the thought of getting old just scares me so much. And it seems like the older you get the faster the time goes... It's not fair.
Just rub it in darling :leaving: LOL! Being thirty something will be awesome cause I know exactly what I want now.. When I was in my 20's nothing mattered but clubbin and beer... It's like everything I do now affects my future I can retire in my mid 30's so all is real good arty: Anywayz back to snow
Haha sorry, didn't mean to do that. But that's awesome that you know what you want from life. And what's with the early retirement? But yeah anyway, back to snow. *throws a snowball at you* Nyah nyah.
Oh No! in less than 2 months i will be leaving the sun, the beach the smell of coconut oil and bikinis only to reach the freezing cold london burn. i am stocking up on tan now i can tell you! ...my skin will only stay brown so long before the pasty white ghost look takes over... But the heat here is intense lately so it will be nice to not sweat in puddles all day long.
You should see Texas. Snowed twice in the past month, and people were acting like it was a sign of armegedon.
