To be more specific, we hung out in high school and smoked weed together I guess you would say we were associates and he and my brother were friends. I agree completely that he needs to pay for what he did(the free Kanyva thing is basically support for him). Live by the gun die by the gun is the life he chose and to tell you the truth anybody who packs should live by that because shit happens. Good people pack also, saying that all people that pack guns are bad is ignorant and narrow minded. Say, for example, a woman get raped walking in a park or say they break in her house and rape her and she starts packing. Is she a bad person? Different people, different situations. I respect the no tolerance towards guns though.

 

I live in exactly the same enviornmet as is being described here, and I would NEVER carry a gun with me on the street. If I had the money, yes I would keep a gun, probably multiple guns, in my house, by my bed and anywhere else that my gaurd is left down at. I would not shoot someone in any case of revenge, in my eyes revenge is like biting a dog back because it bit you first. I would have no problem shotting someone in order to save my life, but in reality as long as you dont hit the streets acting like you are important, then your chances of being harmed to the point of a life threatning injury are reduced immensley. Sure, you may be mugged, held at gunpoint, beat up for your shit, but very rarely, even in a bad area like mine, will you be SHOT over something you have on your person. And that is the truth, no fucking people, no matter how bad ass they think they are or might even really be, is going to risk prison time for murdering someone over something as trivial as a stack of cash or some gear you have on. You will be shot if you call someone out and act tough, or you will be shot if you bring on violence when it is uneccassary. Sure, a psychopath may stab or shoot you, but that cant be avoided anyway, whereas everything else that ends in a shooting, potentially can be.
Hyphy, sorry about your cuddie bro, mistakes, even really really stupid ones, do happen, who knows what your guy had going on in his life to make him do this, Im sure he was hitting some rough shit, and he does deserve whatever charges he gets, but I know what its like to lose a friend who was good to you even if they are the one who fucked up. But, this shit happens man, eventually you will lose so many friends that you wont even care enought to post their pictures and tell people about it on the internet. It happens all the time.

 

All I can say is, come to Gainesville, GA and hear about all of the randomly senseless murders that take place here. A friend of the family was arrested a few years ago for killing someone over a copy of the "Up In Smoke" concert video. People are crazy, stupid, and petty and they want what you have; and they'll get it however they can.

And I actually consider revenge to be one of the only reasons worth killing for, other than self-defense. When I say revenge, I am not talking about someone stealing something from you or anything like that, but if someone kills or even tries to kill someone I love, even my dog(Toto), then the fucker is gonna die. It won't solve anything and will actually make things worse, but that's what I'd do.

 

Well Brian Im sorry to hear that, and trust me someday you will realize how wrong that is and figure out that pride and revenge mean nothing when you come face to face with god, or if you dont believe in god, when you die and become nothing one the earth again. I used to think like you do, but ever since my son was born, I realized that NOTHING in the world is worth fighting back for that would jeopardize my being able to see him. If something were to happen to him I cant honestly say that I would be able to control my reaction, but I would hope that I would be able to at least think before I act. Maybe when you find something in life that means more to you than your own self respect and honor, you will think differently. I hope so because your a good guy man, but any kind of revenge is foolish. You are christian right? Remember turn the other cheek ? Not trying to rag on you here man, but the truth is that nothing or no body is worth fighting for save for Allah himself.

 

That's exactly what I'm talking about, though. If someone, god forbid, killed Kari, then I know for a fact that I wouldn't be able to stop myself from killing them, and I wouldn't really want to stop myself. I'm sure you would feel the same way if something happened.....I don't even wanna say it, but you know what I'm talking about and I am pretty sure you would take revenge without thinking twice if it actually happened.

I was not trying to imply that packin gang bangers were not or could not be a good friend or that they are not good people.

I have had read hours and hours and hours of gang related criminal cases, I am the first to say that some of the people involved in gangs, can not help where they are in life or what they are involved in.

Its the fact, that even though you are a friend, a cousin, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew of a gang member, other rival gangs dont seem to care or not if you are involved with the gang itself. There main focus is the payback. There have been more than enough incidents of innocent friends/family members of gang members who have gotten shot and killed just by being an acquaintence of a gang member, its called retaliation. No one seems to care who they shoot as long as it is going to piss off the other rival gang. Its a circle and it does not seem to matter who gets shot as long as they have retaliation.

I have spoken with plenty of gang members, their lives our quite sad that some can not get out of the situation they are in. That is not their fault, but when some are given the chance to get out and they dont, that would be their fault.

I guess after having so many clients that are gang members who have had the possibilty of making something out of themselves, seeing them sitting in prison for 25 to life makes me sad as hell.

 

Guns are only as bad as the people who use them, I like guns but do not keep any around because I would use them and then my freedom would go away, so guns dont exist in my world.

I do have one, I keep it in 3 peices as well as the bullets in another place, so when the shit hits the fan I hope it would give me time to think about what I was about to do.

I'm not really an advocate. I have a handgun, if needed, I can place a shot reliably in a chest from 75 yards.

I don't feel like I'm in danger so I don't need to shoot anyone. If I did, I would. If someone I loved was in danger I would. Fortunatly I don't feel like I'm in any kind of dangerous situations anymore.

 

my brother and I just talked about that. yeah, i guess insanity was his only plea. he was fucked the moment he put that steel in his draws.

 

Insanity probably won't work. He'll likely get manslaughter, he might get off with only a few (5-10) years if he's lucky.
