hey, i just moved to portland, and im wondering if theres anyone out there that can help show me around, or just fill me in on where to go, what to do, you know, welcome me to portland and such?
I'm going to Portland in April. I don't know anything about the city I am just excited and wanted to post
I just moved here too. Going to University of Portland! It's a good school academically, but since it's also a Catholic University, there aren't very many hippies here... So sad
hey everyone! I live in Vancouver Washington, right over the Columbia river but I grew up in Portland and I go visit most weekends to hang out with my friends. Some cool places to go is Hawthorne street or 23rd. There's a bunch of cool little hippy shops and tons of different kinds of people in those areas. Anothe cool place is the Saturday Market which is down on the waterfront. Lots of little stands where people sell there hand crafted items. It's fun. But the po-po's surround this area because of all the smoking circles that used to go on awhile ago. But Hawthorne and 23rd is pretty safe. I hope this helps!! ~Martha~
im moveing to portland in a week i know there are more hippies down south in oregon but im sure ill have fun while im in portland, then when im dun school ill move some were elts in oregon or go back to being a gypsy
I loved Portland the few chances I had to chill there. Plenty of organics and fresh produce... all you need. -Mike
