Nice reference. Are you seriously gonna base your views on Jim Morrison on the Doors movie? That shit was so terrible. He was portrayed as a drunkard and Val Kilmer made him seem so bi sexual is was ridiculous. Read a credible Doors book and you'll understand him. It's not about the music or the poetry or whatever. It's about Jim. Anyone who's ever known him said he's one of the greatest people they've ever met. He's an incredible force.

frankly, i did not listen too much to the doors in the 60's and 70's. i was more into led zeppelin, black oak arkansas, etc.

i've recently obtained the doors two disc set - brilliant. lyrics, music.

timeless music. way ahead of their time.

would i idolize jim morrison - nah. he did what he did.
